# ENB Issues — Black Dots on Screen

> Fix random black dots appearing on screen caused by missing ENB files in your GTA V or FiveM directory.

<Warning>
  If you are seeing **random black dots scattered across your screen** while in-game, this is caused by ENB not being installed correctly.
</Warning>

## Cause

This issue occurs when the ENB files are missing from one or both of the required directories. U1D GFX requires ENB to be present in **both** your GTA V game directory and your FiveM plugins directory to function correctly.

## Fix

Follow the steps below to resolve the black dot issue:

  <Step title="Download ENB Files">
    Download the latest ENB files from [u1dgfx.com](https://u1dgfx.com/client).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install into your GTA V Directory">
    Extract the ENB archive and copy `d3d11.dll` and `d3dcompiler_46e.dll` into your **GTA V root directory**.

    Example path: `C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\`
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install into your FiveM Plugins Directory">
    Copy the same files (`d3d11.dll` and `d3dcompiler_46e.dll`) into your **FiveM plugins folder**.

    Example path: `C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.app\plugins\`
  </Step>

  <Step title="Restart FiveM">
    Once both directories have the ENB files, fully restart FiveM and launch your server. The black dots should no longer appear.
  </Step>

  If you are unsure where your FiveM `plugins` folder is, open FiveM, click the settings icon, and navigate to **Open FiveM folder**. From there, go into `FiveM.app > plugins`.
